New security features in ADAMANT Messenger
In the new version 2.11.0, the Messenger verifies cryptocurrency transactions, warns of suspicious wallets in the accounts of a user and their partners, and is able to update transaction statuses at your request.
You can accept in-chat crypto transfers, because ADAMANT saves wallet addresses in Blockchain KVS. To save them, passphrase is necessary — it means nobody can push wrong addresses on behalf of you.
However, if scammers steal the passphrase (remember: only you are responsible for the security of your account), they will be able to replace the account’s cryptocurrency addresses with their own. If someone sends you cryptocurrency, scammers will get it.
